The weather was horrible with dark skies, heavy rain and the strong winds that Emley folk are used to.
But this was our best year yet and we thank the people of Emley and those from further afield for braving the elements and supporting our work.
This year for the first time, we welcomed Harry and Olive who brought along their wonderful wood turnings to add to our successful cakes and catering, crafts both African and local, books and bric a brac.
The money we raised will help us continue to build the much needed community library where we hope to improve literacy in adults as well as children. In addition we continue to receive donations for the purchase of mosquito nets, these nets do save lives and we welcome your continuing generosity.
